It’s been a week of new technology launches that enable better UAV flight control and inspection, and market forecasts have been released in the Asset Integrity sector predicting strong growth into 2024.
This week in UAV Inspection:
A new market intelligence report by BIS Research, the “Global Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Market – Analysis and Forecast 2019-2029“, reports that the global UAV market was valued at $25.59 billion in 2018 and is expected to reach $ 70.28 billion by 2029. A high growth rate is driven by the usage of UAVs for beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) operations and the need for transferring large amount of data in real time.
