General Visual Inspection (GVI) and Close Visual Inspection (CVI) of internal crude oil storage tank within onshore oil and gas terminal. The purpose of the inspection is to ascertain the condition of the internal structure of the tank to aide decommissioning planning and enactment.
Air Control Entech deployed an ACE-A-E2 internal inspection UAV to conduct the inspection without the need for man entry. By flying from outside the tank, the team were able to eliminate man entry whilst producing valuable inspection data of the tank internals.
Full high-definition videography and photography data was captured and compiled into a report for the operator.
