ACE were contracted by an Oil and Gas operator to perform internal tank inspections on board one of their Floating Production and Storage and Offloading (FPSO) Vessel in the North Sea. The client needed to perform inspections on Cargo Oil tanks as quickly as possible to bring the FPSO back to max operating and storage capacity and reduce down time.
Solution
Air Control Entech deployed a technician to work alongside the incumbent inspection provider to maximize quality and efficiency. Utilizing an Elios 2 internal inspection drone the team were able to perform a full visual inspection of the tank satisfying the vessels class society.
